Default How do you port an Oil Pump?

I am kooking to buy an LS6 oil pump and port it myself, can someone show me how it is done? Did the search but couldn't find anything...

I asked this question a while back . . . the answer was cleaning up casting flask and roughness on the output port, and a slight over-bore or hone of the presure relief valve bore. The second part is the most important because most pumps fail by having the valve stick open. Some of the ported pumps you buy were LS6 pumps to start with, although I don't know what the advantage is there. You can also put a washer under the spring to up the presure a bit.
