LS4 Performance - Muffler time:)

Birthday rolling aound...thought i'd treat myself to some Aero Chambers. Quetion.. i'm too lazy to look... are the rear muffler offset/ceter on both sides?And is the bushing is 2.25? Thankzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....so sleepy now....

Yeah i will get a video of it. and some pics as well. I plan to kepp the resonator as per everyones recommendation.

I like the sound without the res when you have a straight pipe you don't get the full sound to me with it :-\

Meh....you have to have the right set-up for a res-delete.

Try something no one has yet and straight pipe where the original mufflers are already at and replace the res with a tube muffler or glasspack. I would have done it if i thought about it before i put 40's and cutout on mine.

I think someone already did that...Seemed alittle too loud, besides the Aero Chambers are on their way.....I'm also thinking of treating myself to a K and N CAI.....

Friggen car sounds like a lion....i'll try to get better sound clips... the first start is the stock mufflers. The resonator is on. removing the resonator doesn't make the car nesesarilly louder, just makes it raspy right???

sounds real nice man. I wouldnt remove the resonator honestly...your car sounds good as it is. And yes, the resonator removal will make it louder AND raspier.

PS: the woman singing in the background make me think "the exhaust is music to my ears" LOL

Thanks I've had good luck with Hooker Aero chambers in the past. The Lobster even has them! LOLOL SHIT I was hoping noone would hear that! I wanted to use my tape recorder and I had no tapes so I took my parents super old Barbra Streisand cassette and recorded over it LOLOLOL ..yeah I dont know how babs and cars go together...Babs and bitch does though:) Music to her ears LOLOLOLOLOL

My original mufflers say Futaba on the bottom...now I'm really happy to be rid of them...Got my nice Bowling Green Mufflers!!

Test drove the Whale last night with the new Mufflers and the K and N FIPK.....Well that was a fantastic power increase!!!Wow do I feel it..No doubt... When I walk around to the back the engine emits this really deep bass burble...it's intimidating.. things that I love.. The better economy I got from it and at cruise in 4 cylinder mode it has this grumble comming from the back. It really sounds cool....Those stock japanese mufflers really corked things up!!! I love it.Its at the right loudness as I can hear the car now at cruise. I hink i'll get louder if I put the Hogan Familly Down Pipe and Calico Cat and get rid of the big GM kitty Cat. Meow!!! HSSSS!!

I couldn't tell you... My buddy brought it to my attention..I tend to avoid exhausts with big shiney mufflers....They reminds me of a '94 Corsica with that big trash can muffler hanging out the bottom...-It's bad enough I had trash cans hanging out the bottom of my car..

i bolted a thrush turbo where the res is and just did a turn down today to get ready for the car craft street machine comp hopefully it will help the dyno part of the competition its pretty noisy but i like it. i would never leave it like this for a long time though. what kind of power gain do you think i can expect?

Definetely like I wanted....A cross between an old pick up, '82 T/A, and the Blues Mobile with that touch of LSX.:) You can hear this car pretty good coming up the street, has that low frequency sound like Flowmasters. Use either headphones or good speakers.

Wow that sounds mean as hell, definetly louder than my setup. I agree with you on the sound, it has that "old car" sound yet its modern at the same time. I like it!

21503???? Isn't it 21501, thats what I ordered.....The 21503 is offset inlet and offset outlet, your pic shows offset inlet and center outlet.
