on average you could be looking anywhere from 340 to 355 with a tune...try this

Intake: ls6 im, p&p tb, lid, ftra(or similiar) stock bellow/maf
Exhaust: Pacesetter Lt(or better), ory, whatever catback(borla best sound..) cutout
Misc: Underdrive pulley, electric water pump, shift kit, gears, higher stall, tune

everyone's set-up will differ, personal taste in brands, sounds..whatever...just search around and see what you like, check youtube for sound clips of catbacks before you buy one...good luck man

If HP is a concern then don't go with the flowmaster. It's the worst flowing catback out there although it does sound nice. Forget MAF's too because a lot of people have had tuning issues.

But with full bolt ons I can see you putting down 340 rwhp. Now that may not sound too impressive but you have to remember that autos eat more HP through the drivetrain. Not to mention a bigger stall eats even more HP then the stock one does.

But take a stalled auto to the track with drag radials and the tables turn. I've beaten M6's with 350-380 rwhp because I can out launch them and then hold them off just long enough to cross the finish line first. And I only have 325 rwhp

Like darrensls1 said, stay away from the MAF. You dont need a new bigger maf unless you are pushing over 5xx HP. Flowmasters sound amazing, but you can find an exhaust with better flow for the same amount of money or just a little more. Try this website for some LS1 sounds that are produced through the exhausts available. www.ls1sounds.com

Good luck.

If you go to all the parts websites, and add up all the "claimed hp gains" you should have about 450-495 rwhp with just bolt ons.

Base- 325rwhp
headers- 40
lid- 15
filter- 5
ram air- 15
catback- 15
tune- 25
tb- 15
maf- 15
intake- 25

= 495 rwhp with just bolt ons!!! AWESOME!!!

Of course I'm just being sarcastic. The numbers change from dyno to dyno, car to car, day to day. Figure on gaining about 50hp from wherever you start as a baseline.

a driver mod is good for 35hp, and a sunny day is good for 5hp, if you turn the ac to the second setting it goes in to afterburner mode...i learned that trick off of a batman show....

the car already had flowmaster installed. i was looking at the kooks headers with the high flow cats included. that like 1,500 for the package. i would like to reach atleast 370 rwhp.

>what can the stock rear handle. i want to cover all areas an make the car stronger to handle the power. just dont have the ratings of stock parts , what they can handle. thanks again .

370 rwhp might happen in a M6 with all the bolt ons and a good tune. But since you are an auto the only way you're hitting 370 rwhp is if you add either a cam or spray. I recommend a nice streetable 224/224 cam on a 114 LSA. It'll get you to 370+ rwhp while remaining street friendly and emission friendly.

Here is the good news. The stock rear can handle a lot more then 370 rwhp through an auto. It's the M6 guys that can snap them like twigs. I've seen auto guys in the 10's with 1.5x 60's still running the stock 10 bolt. The trick is to always preload the drivetrain before launching at the track. I usually bring my revs up to 2,000 rpm's before I launch on drag radials. Other then that just avoid wheel hop and the 10 bolt should last a long time.

The bad news is that the stock 4L60E isn't quite as forgiving to bigger HP. Make sure you get a big transmission cooler and a shift kit to help prolong the transmissions life. But keep in mind that the 4L60E won't last forever. Start saving little by little and then buy a level 2 built 4L60E from a sponsor like FLT or Performabuilt when the stock one finally goes.

Good luck.
