Default Hellion style turbo results

A while back there was a post but I couldn't find it. We built a twin Turbo 03 Cobra a few years back and recently put the root's blower back on. Last week it hit the dyno and here is the vid. Car still runs a stock motor with upgraded fuel system, twin turbo's and the stock roots. We were surprised the stock motor took it.

Very nice. That thing is insane. Roots and twins are just crazy together. Great job.

To the best of my knowledge, that's the most power produced to date from a stock
'03 Cobra motor. I could be wrong, but I haven't heard of anyone making more power.
A guy I know transplanted a stock Cobra motor into a Fox 'stang and it has run mid
8's in the 160's. Insane what those motors can hold.

On a side note, I wouldn't be standing anywhere near that car during one of those
pulls. The last thing I need is a connecting rod in the eye.

my only concern is how hot is the air coming in at WOT. Wouldn't the roots blower max out and just be pushing hot air in the upper RPM's. Either way that is some sick power, and there is no way I would ever want to tune that thing.

What are the boost levels on that thing.

I don't understand how the roots blower isn't a restriction.

Thats not true, a dude from my area made 998rwhp on a stock block and has been on his same motor for a couple years. The cobra motors come built very good from the factory they come with arp rod bolts and other goodies. Dont hate on it just because it a ford i have respect for these cars you need to give respect when its due. I cant believe you would make a comment like that obviously you nothing about these cars.

Here is a vid of marks car all stock motor with a 88 on it. And he was the highest hp stock block until i saw this thread.

This car was for a dyno # only. No way we would expect the car to last at this power level. The dyno was also done on a 35 degree day which was probly over corrected like ussual in this cold weather. The actual #'s were past 1200rwhp. Gas was c-16 of course and boost was 22-24lbs. The owner wanted a dyno sheet. It will be 700-800rwhp on the street since he has no intentions to race it.
