Now Hiring - Online Editor-in-Chief - powerTV
powerTV, a leading online video magazine publisher and digital media company, is seeking a talented Online Editor-In-Chief for its Automotive Performance Enthusiast Web sites.
Summary:
Online Editor-in-Chief will be directly responsible, day-to-day, for all online powerTV related content, including articles, technical reviews, photo, event results, news, video blogs, and video content.
General Responsibilities:
Generate, Edit, & Post Unique Editorial Content, News, Articles, and News with Embedded Video in Three Core Domestic Markets, in addition to managing Freelance content:
1) Late Model Ford Mustang
2) Late Model GM/LS1
3) Hot Rod/Muscle Car/Drag Racing
Manage Freelancer Content In Two Secondary Markets
1) Sport Compact
2) Truck
Manage & Develop Content from Freelancers
Manage Content Publishing Schedule
Managing Posting of Press Releases & New Products
Create & Manage Daily Video Blogs
Generate Scripts & Story Boards for Video Productions
Review & Approve Videos
Manage, Promote & Interact with the Message Forums Daily
Represent powerTV at Automotive Enthusiast Events
Develop & Execute Plan to Grow Traffic & Viewers
Coordinate Content Launches with Content Marketing Coordinator
Stay informed on the automotive & performance parts markets and new products/trends
Job Requirements
You must be a Passionate & Knowledgable Automotive Enthusiast!
You will work daily in our Riverside offices located in Temecula, California
Technical Knowledge of Automotive Performance including vehicle modifications, engines, suspension, driveline, fuel injection, power adders, etc.
5+ years of Editorial or Publishing Experience
Four-year degree
Comfort & Familiarity in front of a Video Camera
Skills Requirements:
Superior Writing & Editing Skills
Highly Organized
Some Level of Experience with Photography & Video highly desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, high-demand environment
Experience or Willingness to Appear in front of a Video Camera for Video Blogs & Features
Familiarly with Forums & Web Magazines highly desirable

dam my g/f fits this perfect!!! b.a. in english, ridiculous writer/editor, wrote a few articles for a few different magazines, def. looks good on camera...she def. exceeds all the job and skill requirements and has a great resume...but there is one requirement that she lacks!...
she can't stand fast cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dam my g/f fits this perfect!!! b.a. in english, ridiculous writer/editor, wrote a few articles for a few different magazines, def. looks good on camera...she def. exceeds all the job and skill requirements and has a great resume...but there is one requirement that she lacks!...

lol, i think i would be good for this job, but i dont have a 4 year degree, i have good comp skills and went to uti, ford fact and a catepillar school, love fast cars, just not a 4 year,.

i didnt mean, she didnt like fast cars...she just has no clue about them...she could always learn...but when she "accidentally mistaken my red SS for a v6 red camaro" i knew she how NO SHOT about cars...but she never grew up around it...
if there was like on the job training for about a month about cars she would be fine...here is a random pic
if that is possible,ill pass it on to her lol (she also has a single subject teaching credential in english for secondary school)
