My car's runnin and smells like crap!!

My right 02 sensor went out and I'm wondering if i can save some cash and outfit it with a 99 model WS6 02 sensor,

My car is an 01 WS6

Can this happen?

dont hold me to this, but i believe 02 sensors are the same for all LS1s

right front part # 25312196

the other 3 are all the same part# 25312197

all fit 98-02

the length of the wire is the difference. you can even use the bosch 13111 that are for the vettes.
