Default P1SC to D1SC swap ?s

Is the intake hat from a P1SC head unit able to fit onto a D1SC if it has been unmodified? Im doing this swap on an 02 Camaro and the intake hat flange isnt long enough to properly clamp onto the head unit anymore. The discharge of the compressor is what is preventing this..

I was under the impression that the external dimensions of the P1SC and the D1SC were the same. Earth to Bob/EPP...

The compressor housing needs to be rotated. You can do this by loosening the 1/4" allen bolts on the perimeter of the housing and rotating to the proper location. The outlet should be pointing towards 7 o'clock

7'oclock? Which way are looking at it? This car has a EPP FMIC as well, Im not sure if the clocking position is different with this setup, but the outlet points to the 3'oclock position when looking at it from the front.

The same housing is used on the P and D series of blowers, so all you have to do is reclock the blower to where it is in the same position that your P blower was at, or close to it.
I have pic's here that may help you out.

By looking at the pictures you then mean 7 o"clock as you look at the car from the front of the vehicle not as you drive. Right?
