Default Can I mill my heads with this cam?

My cam is a 227/227 .599/.599 on a 110 LSA. Can I mill my heads .030" safely without worrying about piston to valve issues? How much power does this usually pick up and what is the normal cost of it?

Yes, although .030 is the max you can go with that choice of cam.

Yeah, it lopes pretty good, especially since I'm running a x-pipe dumped before the axle. The cam is already in the car, I'm just changing heads for 987 springs and some minor upgrading.

With my 228/236 571.602 111LSA cam, and my first set of SII 5.7 heads milled .30, When I clayed it, the valves clearly hit th piston. Switched to 5.3 heads milled .005, I had .85 clearance. So if I was you, CLAY IT!!
