Default QTP E Cutout

I would like some reviews on this product. With Christmas right around the corner, I am thinking about buying one. I love my current setup but I would like that raspy LS1 sound as well. Which means I really don't want to change out Y pipes, headers, etc...and have 24/7 rasp....

anyways, please let me know what you guys think about QTP E Cutout, or cutouts in general....

thanks guys

Jayson

I had a few faulty ones that ate the gears, but after I got that taken care of I never had another problem and had one for a few years and freaking loved it.

I like mine and have not had any problems. I would buy one again. Mine is mounted where the Borla plates would go. Wiring is ran under the carpet with the switch mounted in the ashtray.

+1. I have one in the Borla and love it. Just be careful not to hold the switch longer than after it has either opened or closed all the way. You could burn the motor up if you do.

Agreed. The guy who sells them is great. Accidently broke one of mine hitting a speed bump and he shipped out a new motor for FREE. Had them for almost 2 years now. Great deal!

I had very good results with my QTP. Used it regularly for several years.

My QTP fell appart within a few months on a garage queen, I noticed one day I had an exhaust leak but the cut out wouldnt close. When I got home I looked under the car to see the wire/plug dragging the ground and the ellectric motor was MIA.

I would go with DMH.
