Default christmas shopping for the camaro

So my boss/friend has hinted to buying me a christmas present as headers and my girlfriend wants to get em for me for my b-day in february. The question is I found that buyin-speed the sponser has the pace setter long tubes coated with egr part number 72C2253 for $379.99 and speed-eng.com also a sponser for $359.99 and finally third gen parts cheaper but I don't know how much they charge for shipping. My question is, is pace setter headers the best for your buck and what are my performance gains? What else should I ask for that is about $300.00 because I'm not gonna be greedy. I don't have much done to the car but I want to do a few things. Oh by the way I know they are coated but either way I'm gonna wrap them black to keep the heat down and to not look flashy if pulled over or any situation that wouldn't mess the coating up would it?

after a couple years the wrap if not removed and replaced will cause rust on the surface of the header,

with 300 bucks i would get a predator or some gears , or a little spray

I'm scared of spraying and I like being at 2000 rpm at eighty on the freeway. what's the predator. And lets put it at about $500.

I'm m6 and I'm also going to put cats on the y pipe so what are some good but not expensive cats that will help me pass the sniffer. How do you have such a ratio and still have that rpm at that speed 7th gear ?

Have your girl and your boss put their money together and buy you a set of Kooks, QTP or American Racing stainless steel headers which are all currently on sale by MPH Motorsports (LS1Tech Sponsor). Also for $300 you could find a used LS6 Intake Manifold, used BBK 80mm Throttle body or a brand new Performance Parts 80 mm Throttle body. Not to mention, you could also get suspension parts such as LCA's, PHR, Stranoparts Sway Bar Kit, Torque Arm w/drive shaft loop, etc. The list goes on, wideband AFR gauge, short shifter, raptor shift light, cam or fuel injectors (depending on whether you plan on going FI or N/A).

who has stainless steel for about $500? I don't want that much into headers if they all make around the same power. What would be the differences between the stainless and steel ceramic coated pace setter other than rust?

There's a guy in the sponsor section, I don't remember his name exactly but he sells stainless steel headers w/ORY for roughly $500.

Even though they don't have emission fittings, you're gonna already be SOL in Cali with LTs unless you can find someone to hook you up on emissions or just swap out your LTs w/ your oem manifolds every two years for emissions.
