No big deal?.. or is it gonna be a :hijack:? I'm really not too worried about it, but if this happened to you or know someone who this happened to. I'd like to know what happened.

I once got an LOC when I didn't turn in one of my 7 level volumes for the month....happened on my birthday too, lol.
Guess it's no big deal unless you totally fail or your supervisor is a prick.

you will prob get some paper work. its not just the shop looking at it your comander is going to want an explaination as to why you failed to complete it in the alotted time since you have or are supposed to have at least 1 hr during the duty day soley for studying. if you were my troop you would get an LOC.

I could careless about paperwork, but you bring up an interesting point....i was told that i couldn't work on my cdc's at work and that they were strictly done during my own time. So is this BS or what. And btw i completed all 5 volumes on time, now is the time to turn them in and one is missing. That's the problem, thx for your help.

yeah you are supposed to have an hour a day. since you completed them i am assuming your trainging manager or super saw them so it wont be as big of a deal maybe an ass chewing. we dont actualy turn ours in we just have them checked at the end of the month to make sure they are complete and if they are it will be annotated in your training records. although they may have you redo the missing volume.

I sure hope I don't have to do it again. I doubt it but who knows. Yeah I got all the annotations in my 623's. I was studying for the EOC and misplaced somehow.

I got an LOC for not finishing my 7 Level as well. So DAMN BORING, and most of it didn't even APPLY to the shop I was working in.
7 Level is such a beating!
But, when I was a 7 level, I kept up with my troops to be DAMN sure that they did theirs on time. I didn't want my Section Chief up my ass EVERY day if one of my troops wasn't done. That was my MODIVATION to be sure they did it.
That only happened "once"!

Why do they want your CDC's? They should have looked at each volume after you finished. You'll just be screwed when it comes time for that section of the EOC.

IDK why they want them. You are just supposed to turn them in before you take the EOC for some reason. And, well I graded my own CDC's cuz my supervisor is never around.

Was about to finish up my 7 levels here soon, but just got told I was going to ALS after I get back from leave, like 3 days back, and my EOC for my 7 level CDC's could wait till after I was done and PCS'd(PCS 1 week and 1 day after I finish ALS)....

wait people actually do the cdc's. what a concept. For mine all i did was fill out the unit review questions, then studied those the night before the EOC. My 7 levels were much easier because i was the "training monitor" so i just copied the review questions from the answer key, and once again studied the night before the test. This system seams to work, cause i scored an 89 on the 5 level, and 87 on the 7 level.
Disclaimer: For the young airmen out there i really wouldnt do this, because it is illegal...come to think of it maybe i should delete this post, but then again nobody knows who i really am...
And yeah i never heard of turning in your CDC's

If you pulled that stunt on me I'd serve you with paperwork. Don't think it's "no big deal", just remember when you fuck up and don't turn your shit in, your supervisor is the first one to get his/her ass chewed for something you did.
So do yourself and your chain of command a favor, save them all a headache by not getting them in trouble.
