Default Headlight assembly isnt fitting flush!!!!

Well heres the problem... I was installing these headlights and they do not fit flush to the front bumper cover. Is there anyway to make them fit better besides removing the mounting bracket and putting on the stock mounting brackets. I don't want my car having that 50 yard fake status.

Any help would be apperciated.

Here are the pics!
Car is very dirty I know .

Not a bad deal at all.
It doesn't take but 10 min. and they will fit more snug also.

I suggest you do this. I just did this the other day and it worked great. By doing this, it allows the lights to move more. If you don't do this you might have problems aiming the lights. Very easy to do. I modified the brackets that came with the lights. Once you are done you can add washers to push the lights out a little if you still have any gaps. Good luck.

I have these exact same headlights with the exact same problems. I bought some Silverstars for it thinking maybe it would help being brighter, but there is still the huge a$$ gap and the lights point straight down. Have you been able to hook up the halos? I haven't had time, but i R E A L L Y wanna see what they look like. any pics?

Modify the brackets and you can adjust the lights to not point straight down. I also recommend HID's in the projectors. The halogen bulbs are not bright enough. There are pics floating around with the halo's lit up. I don't have mine hooked up.

Used the spacers from home depot but they were not 3/4 inch smaller ones and fit just perfect with no GAP at all. Will put pictures up when I get a chance did not hook the led's or anything up but :/ I will. Hey do these lights draw alot of power or something cause I had the key in the ignition just to feed power to them, and it killed my battery could'nt start my car lol... Luckly I have a battery charger to start it up easy.
