Default Can LS1 Edit...

Control timing based on boost? or control fuel based on boost(Fuel Regulator Job)?

The LS1 controls timing & fuel on air flow (mass air sensor), not MAP. That said, the MAP sensor is a 1-bar unit anyway, so when you go in to boost, the MAP will be maxxed anyway. So no, there is no way to MAP compensate with the LS1 PCM.

How about if i use a 2 Bar unit? I heard some people tunning Sc'd cars like that.

You tune your timing according to cyl filling (gms per cyl) so anything that the MAF reads (SC, Turbo, dry nitrous) can be adjusted properly.

Edit relies on the stock fuel system (ours is returnless with the regualtor mounting in the tank) so it can't do what you want. The stock fuel system can be changed though!

u can tune without the maf by map and make more power than with the maf, remove it.

the pcm also has other functions that edit cannot access yet such as boost control, ignition tables by gear, shift lights etc

There you Aussie guys go, bragging about your multi-bar LS1 PCMs. :p

There is a multi-bar version of the LS1 PCM, but it's not state side. Only on the Holdens (if my memory serves me correctly).

I adjust for timing w/ my dry-shot using the HOT file. For "load" values above .775 g/cyl my table has reduced timing of 4 deg at all rpms, which follows the same step timing curve NA. The trick is finding the load value that is the cross over from NA to nitrous(or any FI)....mine just happens to be .775. Hope this helps.
Later.

What do you mean by "Hot File"? Are you talking a particular table or is this just the file that you use for this type of tune?

Sorry if dumb!

ahhh yep, well a couple of guys can who have broken down the code themselves. i thought you guys would have the same stuff just you can't see either. only recently these have been found in the code. well not the map tuning that can be done with edit, but the other stuff that cannot be seen with edit yet. i thought our pcm is based on yours, although not exactly the same yours would have similiar stuff...
