The AJP8 has one of the highest specific outputs of any normally aspirated V8 in the automotive world at 83.3 hp/liter for the 4.2 and 93.3 hp/liter for the 4.5. Later models of the 4.5 liter engine were given the option of being to the 'Red Rose' specification, which increased its output to 440 bhp (97.7 hp/liter) when fuelled with super-unleaded (high octane) and the driver pushed the unmarked button on the dashboard which altered the engine mapping to suit.

Not that specific model though. That was a basic run of the mill I-6, only the hardtops/targa got the v-8. The one in the vid was a vert.

ehh i didnt read it that closely, just saw a rose spec and used that number. oh well at least we now now that the I-6 was nothing to special, but the V8 was very small and compact and had some high output per liter, yes ricer thig I know but still

dont think you guys are too up on your TVRs, that one in the pic is a chimaera which originally ran on a modified rover V8, either 4.0 4.5 or 5.0L, the later giving a supposed 320hp although TVR always over inflated their figures they would be more like 280hp, so with this LS6 johns car after ecu mapping gave around 380hp.
The cerbera used the ajp8 in either 4.2 or 4.5 variants
The latest Sagaris used the 4.0S straight 6 with 400hp, heres mine below
