Default about to dyno my car...but front 02 is out

couple of quick questions----my driver side front 02 is out, so im throwing an SES light. i know that it will effect my A/F mixture. Im planning to get headers and some bosch 13111's but not installed until Jan.
questions are....
1.will the front being out affect my rwhp??
2.will it help if i reset my car's comp right before the dyno?
3.anyone have any tips before the dyno? im a newb. will i need to do anything special?? i was thinking of changing my oil (its almost 3k now anyway) and cleaning my air filter

To save the O2 for the dyno you might be able to get by with this. Buy a $10 propane torch from Lowes, take out the O2 and put it in a vice. Hit the end 4 times from each side for 30-60 seconds each to burn off the crap. Do not touch the sensor for 15-30 minutes as it will still be quite hot. This method saved a couple of O2's for me. Your best bet is to replace it before the dyno but the above might work and you'd only be out $10 if the light stays off and trims read OK.

why not dyno it after the headers? You will be fine doing it before but why not just hold off alittle bit

just replace the sensor man, while you are at it get your fuel injectors flushed out, check your spark plugs/wires

Are you getting it dyno tuned or just making a pull to check rwhp? The 02 being bad will not effect a WOT pull because the pcm is not looking at the 02. It will only effect the drivability portion.

FYI, many ppl are now saying not to use the Bosch 13111's anymore, because they may not work as well as stock.

if it's just for dyno testing's sake, swap the front and rear sensors. They're identical, you'll just get a different code indicating that the rear is out

yeah, ive been reading that as well.. when i do my tuning, i plan to go to a tuner that can adjust for a slower reading 02 sensor.. so hopefully that wil solve my problem...

as far as swapping the front and rear's out, i actually already did that when i installed my 02 sims. unfortunately my rear's are shot as well. ill have to try that torch method as a temp fix
