Northwest Members - New Camaro spotted!

So, those of you that remember Josh, has the green VW Jetta diesel and has run with NW F-body, he is on his way driving to Iowa right now, and this morning, somewhere in the middle of nowhere northern Colorado just south of Wyoming spotted what appears to be a new camaro wrapped up in the super-secret shrink wrap. Not super great pictures, but here are a couple.

Cool man. Who would want to come to Iowa though?

They test new cars in the middle of nowhere. When I lived in Lake havasu, I would sometimes see '03 Cobras, '05 Mustangs and Ford GTs driving late at night in similar garb long before they were for sale to the public. Even saw them parked at the grocery store much like the pics above depict. No biggie.

Seeing it out testing like that means it in it's final stages before going on sale though. That's pretty cool.

That's actually the new Challenger. You can tell by the mirrors and door handles. Still cool to catch a car under wraps.

Yeah when I used to live in Fairbanks Ford brought up 9 mustangs they had the 80's front ends with the new 94+ backs or vice versa. I was talking to them and they were doing cold weather testing, it was 25-35 below zero ;)

They were kinda the same thing white rears with black front clips.

It's not that hard if you know someone. I had an offer to do it for Ford in AZ. I thought it would be awesome. Then I found out it's mostly driving trucks with huge loaded trailers with all kinds of datalogging equipment on giant oval tracks etc. It didn't sound like much fun most of the time. I declined the offer after I heard that.
