Default drag racing equipment questions...

i want to run a 15x8 prostar with a 28x10.5 et street...
- do i buy the same backspacing as f-bodies..so for 15x8 5.5 bs?
- will these fit without rubbin the fender well or suspension?

im going with carbed intake and elbow, so i would like to go with a 3" cowl..
- where can i purchase a 3" cowl...it has to have rounded edges, now squared off like old school cowl's

i want to go with a warlbro 255lph and 42lbs/hr injectors
- just but fbody specific?

my intake has spray bars fabbed into it for a stealthy direct port. where in these cars can i hide the bottle?

im trying to start on the winter build here coming the new year so i might be adding parts on here.

you need a 6.5 BS
good luck on the hood.
go to new era and you can grab a 255 for a gto pretty cheap
and the trunk is a good place for the bottle,or under the car in the rear..

With the 2004 GTO, there is a spot under the car where the passenger side muffler would be on the 05/06 GTO. You have to remove the plastic "tub" at the rear of the car to access that area. It's kind of a hassle if you refill your bottle a lot. There is an outfit that sells a hollowed out center piece for the back seat (in between the rear seat backs) that will fit a bottle. I've seen a lot of people remove the spare tire and put the bottle down in the well. Those are about your only choices.

The backspacing for a 15x8 Weld Pro-Star, on a GTO and F-Body is 5.5in. Weld does not make a 15x8 with 6.5in backspace..... If you want to run 15x10 the backspacing is 7.5in!.... Ask me how I know?....
