Re: exhaust exiting in front of rear wheels
On my 00 I've had true duals that exit on the side for a while.
My set up consists of:
2.5 inch mandrel bent pipes
2.5 inch H-pipe
Chamberred mufflers with 2.5 inch inlet/outlet, 2.5 inch inner baffle, and 3inch out diamater.
Chrome Z28 style tips that exit on the sides right below the end of the stock T/A ground effect.
Many people have told me that this is the best sounding F-body they've heard. At idel is sounds lopey (Ive been asked what cam I have). Cruising around town it is very deep and sounds great at all rpms. It has no rasp. If it does have any I cant tell because I was so used to the rasp from the Loud mouth with long tubes.
