Default Fuel Return Line

How important is the fuel return line because it was plugged when I got the truck and didnt know if you keep it plugged or to go ahead and run the line.I am going to be driving it every day and I want it to be right. Thanks

What kind of truck? Fuel injection, TBI, or carb?

If you have an electric fuel pump I wouldn't worry about it, but if you have a mechanical pump you could start vapor locking during the summer time.

I have a mechanical fuel pump.I didnt know if it would give to to much gas to the engine.
