Default Vibration after SLP LM1 install

I recently had SLP's LM1 catback system installed on my 1999 z28(A4) When in drive at a stoplight, I'm experiencing some vibration, and am now hearing squeaks around the rear hatch. My nephew has a 2002 Formula w/ LM1 and has vibrations also. Is this something normal with the LM1, or bad install?

lift it up and make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks where the clamps are, see if all the bolts are tight as well

Did the kit include any new hangers?

i don't think the slp catbacks come with hangers..atleast when i had one it didn't come with one, it just reutilizes the existing ones

i vote bad install, my LM1 never made a sound other then the beautiful sound of the world coming to an end.

make sure all the bolts are tight and nothing is binding.

My LM2 came with new hangars, and after the install I experienced the same vibrations/noise. Your exhaust is probably touching the chassis somewhere causing the noise at idle. That's what happened to mine...it just needed to be readjusted.

i never had a problem with my exhaust making vibrations, nonetheless i don't have a catback anymore...hmm i honestly don't think mine came with any hangers, maybe i got screwed...still put it in there using the stock hangers tho lol

I have the same vibration on both my 95 v6 and my 2000 SS with the LM catback. I still have not found what in the hell it is. It sounds similar to a heat shield rattling but I can't recreate the noise on a lift only on a slight incline. PITA to find this but once I do I'll be sure to make a thread about it.
