Default Patriots

There is still a certain team in the NFL that would beat the New England Patriots in any game including football my friend. The name of that team is of course.... Da Bears. Even if the Bears were playing their mini Ditkas they would win. And yes, I'll have another pork chop thank you.

Colts can do it, as long as they have all there hurt players back on the field again.

Only playing in their cracker-box stadium, with "their" refs. They won't get the chance. The Jags should take care of the Pats.

The Patriots are good, but unless they win in Febuary, they will not be considered among the greatest teams ever. They will be the greatest team that couldn't win the big one.

I still say a Bear team consisting of EVEN mini Ditkas would kick their asses.

Well even if they dont win this year, judging from there past they will not be considered as a team who couldn't win the big one. I wouldn't consider a team who has pretty much dominated the 2000's a team that can't win the big one, don't get butt hurt becuase you don't know what your talking about.

Patriots had a killer season! They should be very happy when it ends at 16-1

Well considering there hasn't been an undefeated team since the '72 Dolphins, I would say they are doing rather well for themselves. Is there a better team out there this season?

It's Football, not Golf. Seasons are judged in this sport. If they don't win the super bowl, the 2007 Patriots will be the best team to not win the big one... for one year.

They will top all of these teams:

In chronological order:

1968 Colts- The NFL champions who lost to Namath's Jets.

1974 Vikings- Tarkenton and the Purple People Eaters. NFC champions lost to the Steelers.

1976 Steelers- The two-time defending Super Bowl champs lost the AFC title game to the Raiders, but both Franco and Rocky were injured and didn't play.

1978 Cowboys- IMO as complete a team as ever there was, but bridesmaids all the same.

1983 Redskins- Defending champs lost to the Raiders.

1990-1993 Bills- Four-time AFC champions, just couldn't win that last one.

1998 Vikings- Lost to the Falcons in the NFC title game.

2001 Rams- lost to New England in the Super Bowl.

So hope they win the super bowl, because if they don't, it's a disappointing season for them. 3 out of the last 4 games could have been losses, if they didn't run up the score against weaker teams, I don't think they'd look as impressive. They did pretty good though for a team that got caught cheating.

hahaha, you can scout a team all you want, that has nothing to do with the outcome of a game, players still have to go out and execute. and how about the colts, they were using sound antics to make it harder for teams to hear the snap count, does that negate how good they are? The Patriots are the best team in the nfl hands down, weather they win or not. I think you need to get your finger out of your rear and realize that.

So if a team that has a record of say, 8-8, wins the super bowl, they will be an all around better team vs the Patriots just because they won the super bowl?
