My F-Body Life
After looking at many pictures tonight of the F-body I thought it would be cool to post all the F-bodies I have had in my life. I'll give a breif description and post the pics. Still have the 01 TA and 02 SS for the moment.
From start to finish it is this:
1972 Camaro RS - build with family and ran great with 6.5 mpg (hehe)
1984 Z28 - 5spd that took me through much of high school, sold it when I joined the military.
88 RS - 1st dealer and financed car. traded for family vehicle later
01 Z28 - My baby, built, loved it, wrecked it. Sold in 06
95 Formula - Bought for wife, drove for awhile, then sold it.
88 TA - purchased from a friend for $500 with ignition problems. rebuilt the ignition, added cat back, a few touch and tune ups, then sold for profit.
92 RS - Bought for $800 with bad tranny. Rebuilt the tranny and top side of the motor, added exhaust, then sold to a friend who wrecked his 86 iroc and needed a car. Cut him a hell of a deal.
99 T/A - bought for the Mrs. She loved it, I loved it, then found her a 01 WS6 that was a one owner with half the miles and stock. Better car. So this was traded in.
01 T/A WS6 - still currently have this one, but might be selling due to a new baby. Has cat back, some tuning, a few appearance mods.
02 SS - bought after coming back from Iraq. This is my new material baby. Will be loud as hell when I finish it and put 420 HP or more to the wheels. I love these things.
Hope you like the pics. though I would share.

[QUOTE=davered00ss;8402663]I hope you still have the 72.
At 16 I couldn't keep it. The car had some water damage way before I got it and the rear unibody was rotted. As a kid I did not have the money to replace the floor pans and such. Plus the insurance for me at the time was $214 a month for liability. I do wish I would have kept the motor, but I ended up trading the car straight up to a guy for a '80 cutlass 2 door. He then blew the motor on the car and stripped it a couple months later. Dumbass

1982 Z/28 Indy 500 Pacecar-First f-body. Still have it and will be looking to sell it soon
1986 IROC-Good car that lasted a long time. Had A LOT of miles so I sold it when I graduated college and got a decent paying job
1985 IROC-JUNK! Was a throw in with the '86 above! I still have it in my garage
1987 IROC-Nothing special. Mainly used it to scavage parts for the '86 when needed
2000 Z/28-My gift to myself once I actually started making money in the real world. Started my love affair with the LS1. Wrecked courtesy of a 60 year old man that can't destinguish red from green...
2002 SS-My current car and the love of my life.
...I've already decided that if anything happens to the SS or I just get tired of it (don't really see that happening) I'm getting a WS6 as the next project.
