2 years ago the car scene was huge because of this site. average turnout was 500+ cars and atleast double that in people. supposedly they are moving to a new location this spring so hopefully the "scene" will be bigger this year

even if you tried to organize an ls1tech meet i doubt you would have more than 10 cars show up, its been tried and people from this site are pretty content on just staying home and drinking beer. if your gonna go by yourself and just humbug in the corner no joke your not gonna have fun, try being social. also check out www.dfwstangs.net their meets tend o be more "accepted" than the larger ricekiller meets where most of the cars are largely rice now

LSM is having meet? or everyone is having meet at hooters?
I have an older guy that lives by me and he was asking me about this meet.
He said when he was younger that this was a big ole meet and that him and a few other guys were amazed that this meet still goes on.

Just to clarify things. The Hooters meet is actually promoted and organized by Zach who is a member of LS/M, but it isn't a club meet. Now if Zach promotes the club at his meet that is up to him IMO.

The actual LS/M meet will be the following Saturday @ Ace Transmissions in North Richland Hills.

If you ever feel like driving to Ft Worth while your in Allen, we have meets at our shop that draws a big crowd. We do the meets usually between March-October. Normally every saturday night from 9pm-midnight. Have a dog, a coke, and hang out.
