yea, i've always pulled them seperately..... it is pretty easy once you start on it and I think its easier than pulling an auto just b/c its less to handle in two pieces. good luck

Yes, separate them. You will need an 10mm wrench to reach up and loosen the two slave cylinder bolts as you pull them apart about3-4 inches. THen it will come apart. Have some extensions and two knuckles, there are 2 crappy bolts to get at, 1 is horrible, its easier to move the vent tube to the side in my opinion...its on the top of the passenger side...tranny to bellhousing bolt.
Ive had mine in and out a good 5 times. Might be nice to have a deep socket 24mm for holding the crank pulley bolt while u loosen the flywheel bolts.

GOod luck!

You can unhook the slave line using fast hands and two flatheads. Its alot easier that trying to unbolt the slave and trying not to break the hose.

Pull them separately. I kicked myself in the *** for trying to pull them together. Just hope your dowel pins haven't siezed, we pried on mine for almost a hour before it popped loose from a swift kick!
