Default SS hurst shifter question

My SS has what i beleive is the factory hurst shifter, did all SS's come with the hurst shifter or was it optional and does that shifter have a shorter throw than just a regular factory shifter?

I've driven with both and I'd say the hurst is A LOT BETTER!

Yeah the Hurst is better than the regular shifter. I have driven both too and the gears feel much closer and tighter with the Hurst shifter.

Mine is a "base" SS and has(had) the Hurst. I'm not sure if they all had it though.

I thought All SS's had the Hurst shifter and it was an option on the Z28? I've never seen an SS with a stock shifter.

The hurst shifter was a option on both the SS & z-28 for $325.
