Default camshaft question

I installed a VRX5 camshaft, the specs are

236/238
601/605 on a 113 (maybe 12, dunno)

I have all the listed mods (below in sig)

My question is, this will be my main driver, and i really dont care about MPG blah blah blah. I just want to know if this camshaft is considered BIG, and if a 3800 VIG will match well with it, also with this camshaft and heads what kinda N/A power I should make?

Additionaly, thoughts on my setup are welcome! I will be taking it to the track as soon as I can, aswell as the dyno

thats definatly a decent sized cam...i would say anything over 235 duration is "big"....over 240 would be "monster"

at least on stock cubes.

that cam, the ls6 heads you list, through a stalled auto...430-440rwhp if its tuned well.

that converter should be good for it, but i'm sure it wouldn't mind bigger.

yea i think the 3800 stall would match good with it, you could go 4000 and there would be no issues with a cam that size either, i know there are a lot of 4000s out there. yea the duration on that came is pretty big, post up some vid once you get that installed with it at idle id be interested in hearing that.

That is a good size cam, and the idle on the 113 or 112 will be a little rough. But certainly do-able. We have bigger cams than that on the street. The 3600 converter should be sufficient enough to handle the cam. Get a proper tune and you should be set.

I agree with all stated above.

That is a good sized cam and would love a 3800-4000 stall.
