Default Ls6 & Th400

Well Ihave been looking at threads for a few hrs and I can't find anything that realates to what I want to do.

As far as I can tell the RX7, Fox Body and S-10 boys have this conversion forum pluged up.

I have a 94 V6 Firebird that I bought for 800 and I'm going to build a LS6 with a Carbed set up useing the Eddelbrock setup with the MSD box to control the coils.

I'm striping this whole thing!!

This is going to be a Race Only car so I only need Oil, Fuel, Trans, and cooling gauges for this along with teh sensors that control the MSD box.

I have done searches and I cant find anything on doing this combo
Every one is doing a standard auto or a T-56 swap with the fuel injection and stock wire harness.

Can any one help me with this conversion??

If I left something out that you need to know just ask.

What do I need to do this?

What about engine mounts & tranny mounts?
Will LS Long Tubes fit this car?
What kind of stuff do I need for the trany to work with the TH400?
I want to go with a tubular K Memeber, what one will work with my car?

Does any one have any sites that can help me?

I know I need a LS Rack and stearing assembly to work with this.

1. any ls engine mounts will work for you in an ls k member. being race only, i would suggest solid mounts, or at a minimum the poly engine mounts. for the tranny mount your gonna need bmr's th400 crossmember with torque arm relocation. i would also suggest using a poly mount between the trans and crossmember.

3. all this info is in these two links...most of it is more of a swap (4l60 to th400 or t56 to th400) but you should be able to find all the info you need to make the trans work in your application...

4. there alot of options on k members. the most versatile one, i think, is the bmr...you can get it with alot of options and there are alot of guys that use their stuff without any problems

5. ls1tech.com! all the info you've asked about, i found on this site.

6. not necessarily...i'm not familiar with the ltx f-bodies, but i believe they have the same front suspension. and if you go with the bmr crossmember you can get it with ls motor mounts, and setup for a pinto manual rack...
