Default 02 LS1 Questions

I'm not new to the site, but I'm very new to the newer generation of small blocks and what works/doesn't work with them. With that being said, I've got a few questions. I found a pretty good deal on an '02 LS1 out of a corvette. I think it'd be the way to go on a project that I've been working on. Here's my questions - it comes with the clutch/flywheel/bellhousing and so forth. Are these usable when coupling a tranny directly to the motor (since they were designed for the torqur arm and transaxle setup)? I want to go with a 6 speed and so forth, what is needed/would have to be changed to do that?

Thanks for your replies.

No, you would at least need a different bellhousing. The one on the vette is designed to hook to the torque tube and i'm pretty sure they have a different bolt pattern than the T56.
