Real simple. No dont waste your time. You'll probly break it and there really isnt much gain to be had.
You dont see a lot of people doing it like u stated because there isnt much to be had, like I said.
you DO see people porting aftermarket intakes though. Just not a stock LS6

You could port it if you want to but, its not worth the trouble. If you have it just throw it on. Most porting goes on with the aftermarkets like the fast. There is power to be gained if you port the fast.

If you have ported heads, it MAY help to port match the runners. If you have a dremel, a steady hand and some self control you won't ruin anything. I'm not expecting it to make much of a difference, but every little bit helps.

Every little bit counts. Do what you can to make power with out buying the aftermarket manifold. I personally wouldn't try doing it myself....but if you think your up to it....knock yourself out....
