Default Pioneer DEH-P5900I

How would this head unit do with stock speakers and what not? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1165610937533 im looking at picking up this head unit from best buy just cause i have a $100 gift certificate and this one can play the iPod. i like the color b/c it will go with my gauges.. any info is appreciated!

Ebays got the same headunit for 65 bucks cheaper. Buy it there and use the gift card on the faceplate adapter and install.

its a pretty good deck, i love pioneer, and so does the auto manufactures they're putting in something similar to the after market ones in the new scions. as far as going with your stock speakers yeah it will be fine, i had a deck that put out 55 watts per speaker and it finally blew the front right after 2 years.

I have the DeH P5900IB. I'm no expert but I like it so far. I bought it for my iPod.

the only downfall to that unit, imo, is that there are no preset number buttons on the face, you have to use the "joystick", but other than that, its a really nice unit--4v preouts, ipod ready, sat. radio ready.
