Default Stolen 2002 SS!!!

I woke up this morning to go to shoneys with my girlfriend and her dad. I walked outside to get into the LE and it was GONE!!!!! Some f#@#er stole it between 2-5 this morning . I had the doors locked, alarm on, e-brake set, and it was in gear still. It wasn't started nor did the alarm go off. Im thinking professionals. The cop said they are extremely hot around here and its probably on its way to a chop shop. I had so much into that car and it was my first camaro. Im goin back to college today and im sooo bummed and even more im sooo pissed. If they dont find it i dont know if im going to get another LE or if im just going to get a beater until the new camaros come out and put the insurance money for a down payment.

Thats fuked up. Some people are so fukin stupid. That just pisses me off. I'll keep a look out and pass the word around here. Do you have anything that sets your car apart from other cars that look the same?

Man thats really depressing ! I hope your insurance company gave you what it was really worth with all the special equipment & aftermarket parts plus sales tax.
To have something like that happen is like if your girlfriend got gang-raped or something . You'll never be the same after an experience like that. But we have to move on . Time heals most pain but I regret to have to tell you the new Camaro is still quite a ways off & who knows what the future might bring. My advice would be to jump right back in with a clean Trans AM or another Z .
Good Luck Man , we feel your pain !

This has to be the same group doing these. There have been a shitload of f-bodies stolen in LA in the past year or so.

Good rule of thumb. Don't ever leave your F-body outside overnight anywhere. That is probably on the top 10 list of cars getting stolen the past couple of years.

Sorry to hear you lost such a pretty car. Hopefully it'll work out and you can get something else you really want.

Sorry to hear this man. This kinda make me happy that my car looks like a V6, maybe they wont want it, lol. Its really not funny that your car was stolen but I think you know what I mean. I'm actully shocked that my insurence is as low s it is for full coverage since F-bodys have been stolen alot around here for the past few years. I know one guy whos car was attempted to be stolen 3 times be fore they got it on the 4th time.

I know some people use gas engines tow trucks, you can't hear them at all. they are also popular with impouding cars as well.

Wow, in my own town (yeah I live in 70458!), glad mine stays indoors!! WTF, this stuff is getting crazy!
Best of luck, your car was tight FWIW, always saw it around but we never met, hope insurance does you right!
Hang in there, stuff happens for a reason.

Thanks guys. They didnt start it so if figured they used somekind of towtruck. I did find some tire marks that had to be from the truck, my buddy owns a tire place i might see if we can figure out what kind of tires they are and then Ill measure the wheel base and try to figure out what kind of truck it was. We have to do something, I dont wanna see this happen to anybody else.

Sorry to hear this.

Did you show up to the gathering at the lakefront weekend before last? I was out there but left early. Seemed almost like a set up for those theives to scope out vehicles to steal. Thats why I left and got my car out of there. I see or hear someone messing around with my car and I will shoot first and ask questions later. Thank god my car sits next to my bedroom window and I block it in everynight.

Man, I want to extend my sympathy. I am truely sorry for your loss.
I also know of the 02 LE SS mentioned in an above post that was lifted
after the 4th attempt. Truely SUX!!!

Can I ask you ONE question?

Did you go to the New Orleans Lakefront Gathering at the end of December?

Blurr beat me to the punch with his question. But you can see where we're going with it.
