Default 98 ta backspacing ?

im getting weld prostars and 15x3 1/2 up front and 15x10 in the rear and plan on running a 295 tire in the rear what is the proper backspacing i need and i have read that with all weld wheels you will have to grind on the caliper what exactly does this mean

1.75 for 15x3.5
7.5 for 15x10
5.5 for 15x8

You have to take a grinder to the caliper and take off a lot of metal.

what about drag lites do you have to grind to fit those

Yes, you have to grind with those also.

Many people on here do it, and it has lasted a long time...a few people have had their calipers snap.

It's up to you if you want to take that risk.
