Suggestions on a good 315/35-17
The car sees about 1,500 miles a year so tread wear isn't much of a concern. It doesn't see rain or snow. It might see a 1/4 mile once or twice a year, but mostly just aggressive street driving. So...
Two ways I might go...
1. If I go drag radial, what's the concensus? Nitto 555 or BFG G-Force or other? What about the Nitto NT-01? It seems to be tailored a bit more for cornering, but with tread like that, it can't be bad going straight either.
2. If I decide to stay just to this side of a drag radial, what are the decent options? BFG has discontinued some models and I've heard some not so good things about the new tread patterns. Anything else out there in the high performance non-drag category?
As the title says, they'd have to fit a 315.
Thanks!

For a street tire, I have Verdisteins in 315 and they are good and reasonably priced. I believe your options are limited since GY and GR and most all others are not in stock in the 315 size tire.
Good luck getting any selection in 315.

haha...and you lose traction relative to the money you save.
the sumi's suck for tractions according to EVERYONE i know who's run them. great for a show car...bad for anything that requires traction.
G-force KD would be the other choice....very high dry-grip, and really good cornering, while still having decent tread depth for occasional rain.
