Big Ups to TONY MAMO AFR
Just wanted to give props when props are due to Tony at AFR for sharing the information in the article he did for CHEVY PERFORMANCE.
Have to appreicate a sponsor of his caliber that takes the time to share some of his information that could easily be consider secret , with the members on this site. Really seems like a down to earth guy!
thanks, and keep up the good work.

Yea really was an good article and especially true about the going from big port heads to smaller port heads for the street/strip cars, he said you would never go back! I can definatly tell the difference in the last set of ported heads vs the new smaller port heads that I have now ( both aftermarket).
He also mentioned that you should check your heads flow numbers after you recieve them to test if they actually flow what is claimed. I think it would be a good idea if a company would offer some kind of incentive if thier heads dont flow what is claimed. Only thing is that it is said that most benches will produce different numbers.

Guys...
A copy of the article is going to be up on AFR's website shortly....tomorrow if things go well.
When we get it up I will try and post a link for everyone. "Cliff notes" wont cut it....LOL (It was a few pages long)
The link will bring you to a scanned copy of the story once its up.
For those that prefer not to wait (or want to read a clearer copy) Im almost positive the mag is still on the newstands....its the Feb. edition that your looking for.
Thanks for the props btw....I spent a fair amount of time working on it.
Cheers,
Tony
