Default Which valvetrain?

I know you guys have heard this a thousand times, but i must ask.

Apparently, I have been had b someone doing a head and cam setup.

I have stock LS1 heads that have been ported. I have a comp cams 232/236, Lift 595/601 camshaft. And I still have the stock valvetrain.

Now the question is what springs and rockers should I use, and if I decide to go with aftermarket heads, what heads should I use, and why?

Also, I have 12.5/1 compression.

I am planning putting nitrous on it later, so keep that in mind as well.

Thank you very much for your time.
Tom

Springs I would say either 918's, PRC duals or Patriot Performance duals, your stock rockers wil work just fine, as for heads I'm not very good at those, maybe someone that knows more than me will chime in.

The patriot springs work real good.stock rocks are fine too.
As far as head recommendation-what cubic inch is your engine?

I would stay with a ported LS6 for the inexpensive route (ET Performance, Livernois, Patriot, TSP, TEA all have nice results). For a aftermarket head I would look at a AFR 205cc intake runner head or a ET Performance 215cc intake runner head. I personally like the dual valve spring pakages as extra insurance, if you were to ever break one you wouldn't take out your entire motor. The nice thing about the ETP 215's is that they are at a 11* valve angle and will give you a little bit better PTV clearance.

Our Patriot Gold kit will be a great choice for you. Our complete kit comes with the springs, ti retainers, machined locks, viton seals, and machined bases. All this for $255.00 plus shipping. If you decide to go with aftermarket rockers, we have a great price on Yella Terra and Harland Sharp rockers.
