Default I need a list of your favorite car cleaners/waxes/etc...

I really need a list of good cleaners, waxes, clay, interior and exterior. I really want to get my TA looking good for a spring photo shoot... also, if you know of any tools that are good(sponges, towels, etc...) for me to buy. I have never used anything except some Armorall from autozone.

And does anyone have a guide for claying a car?

and finally... what can i use to get some stuck on dirt off of the inside of my tinted windows, I have cleaned them 4-5 times with windex and the stuff wont come off without a really hard scrub(crap has been on there since I bought it, on rear window and passenger side) and I'm sorta worried that anything rougher would screw up the tint

well using windex on tint will screw it up!!! u need to use an ammonia free window cleaner.

as far as clay bar, what i do is... while you're washing it and the soap is still on the car go over the area all over with the clay bar. do NOT clay bar your car while it's dry!!!

everywhere i read on here a lot of people use maguiers or tropicana. i work at a dealership in detail so i use all that stuff!

Any clay bar will be fine. It's really easy. Just spray the area with the included detail spray so it's well lubed and rub the clay bar in a back and forth motion over the area. You'll feel it catch a lot of crap and eventually it won't grab on anything (this means the area is clean). Then move on to the next area. It's simple.

For the interior windows, you can try a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water (not sure if that will hurt tint or not, though).

In terms of your list, what do you mean by good? Good as you can get in stores, or good as you can get from anywhere?

Check the Tropi-care website. http://www.tropi-care.com/
They have great products & they have some how to videos for claying & buffing.

By looking at your sig pic, it looks like your going to need some swirl remover. NBM is the best color, but it sucks to keep it looking great.

You can't go wrong with Menzerna, but that's not in stores. If you're lucky and have access to a CarQuest you can sometimes find Duragloss #105. For off the shelf stuff, I use Meguiar's #26 since their #21 sealant isn't available at any stores I frequent. However, I order 80% of my stuff online from autogeek.

I really don't care where I buy it from.

Ya, I know I really need to get the paint swrils out, but I had no idea how. The tropi-care website looks awesome, I will definately be ordering(or hmm... my b-day is coming up ) some stuff from them.

Any suggestions for dash? Mine loves to get really dusty, and I saw something at autozone that is supposed to cut down on dust. Any idea if this stuff works? I think it was armor-all brand.

The less product you put on the dash, the less dust it will attract. I like the dry look, so I wipe it with Swiffer wipes.

If you get the TC swirl cutter, you can apply it by hand & get decent results.

You can get a PC buffer from Tropi-Care, they have packages that come with pads & polish. It helps a ton & is easy to use!

I use Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer and Meguiar's Natural Shine for the interior. Armor-all sucks, IMO.

Meguiars quick wheel detailer is a good way to keep the wheels clean between washes.
