The only place you can get that tap is in a TimeSert thread repair kit. See the following: http://www.timesert.com/html/gm.html

Your correct on the size and thread pitch, M10 x 2.0.

Yep, I know. I have the ARP M11x2.0 and M8x1.25 thread cleaners. They work awesome for cleaning out head bolt holes.

I have the tap you need, PM me if you want to work out something. I purchased the complete Kent Moore/SPX Timesert GM Gen III thread repair kit.

ARP doesn't recommend using a tap as it opens the threads up and the threads on the studs/bolts are rolled. You end up reducing the shear area.

Agree, but I didn't use a 'tap' but rather a 'thread cleaner'. The ARP 'thread cleaners' that I have are etched with a disclaimer, "Not for metal cutting" and "Thread Cleaner" followed by the size and thread pitch.

As far as the 'tap' that comes with the Kent Moore/SPX thread repair kit. GM specifically states that these tools CAN be used to clean the threads for main and head bolt holes. From the GM service manual under cylinder head replacement, "Clean the engine block cylinder head bolt holes, if required. Thread repair tool J 42385-107 may be used to clean the threads of old threadlocking material."

If you can find a metal cutting 'tap' in M11 x 2.0 or M10 x 2.0 in the bottoming or taper variety please let me know.
