Do my Wiseco pistons have larger valve reliefs than stock? Im thinking about putting in a Compcams XE-R 238/240, .607 @ 112 camshaft to do some dyno comparisons....
I have wiseco forged pistons and i dont see anything on whether they have larger valve reliefs than a stock piston
does anyone know?

Re: Do my Wiseco pistons have larger valve reliefs than stock? Well considering a stock piston doesn't have releifs I'm going to have to say that at the very least, it won't have smaller releifs. You can get aftermarket pistons in all sorts of configurations so you should probably ask whoever built the motor and ordered the parts.

Re: Do my Wiseco pistons have larger valve reliefs than stock? well the pistons have 2-valve reliefs on them (intake side i believe) from when i took them out of the box..but i cant remember well because i send it off to the machine shop so quick.....

Re: Do my Wiseco pistons have larger valve reliefs than stock? If the pistons have 2 valve reliefs then they are on both the intake and exhaust sides. We only have two valves per cylinder on these motors.
Therefore, your pistons have bigger valve reliefs than the stock pistons which have none.

i believe they were the normal 2 valve shaped reliefs....alot of pistons have reliefs on both sides, like a V

Re: Do my Wiseco pistons have larger valve reliefs than stock? I THINK HE IS ASKING WHETHER THE DIAMETER OF THE VALVE RELIEFS IN THE WEISCO PISTONS ARE LARGER THAN THE DIAMETER OF THE STOCK VALVES....
