Default More Torquer 2 questions:)

ok i want to know from guys with experience with this cam. What length pushrods are best? If i go with this cam and do a 112+2 LSA on it will it still be lined up Dot to Dot? Also i'm putting in 243 UNMILLED heads and a .040 gasket to up compression a little but will my PTV clearance be ok? I'm using a LS2 chain setup so i won't be able to adjust there. Also the pushrods i wonder if are the right length as i already bought themi'm kinda new to the cams and Predator-Z is the one that suggested a 112+2 LSA. I'm just makin' sure it'll all bolt together ok and not have any PTV issues and still make the most power. Thanks a ton.~Cole~

All the mods going in:
LS6 intake
243 Z06 heads w/ PRC double springs
TR 7.4 pushrods stock length
ASP underdrive pulley
TSP longtubes w/ Offroad X-pipe thru B&B

thanks guys. i figured the stock length rods would work. Also i'm thinking i may have the heads stay unmilled and then just go with a thinner gasket. i'm guessing with a +2 advance and that gasket setup i'd be fine since i've read it should be. Thanks a bunch guys. maybe somebody else has something to add~Cole~

i've been told by many top tech guys that there is PLENTY room with stock unmilled heads and stock gaskets that's why i'm wondering how much i can push it with a thinner gasket~Cole~

plenty. i run the torquer 2 with 59 cc patriot ls6 stage II heads, morel lifters, stock head gaskets, and 7.35 hardened pushrods and spin to 6700 daily.

PVT clearance will be fine. Don't ever guess at pushrod length. Buy a pushrod length checker and do it yourself. I recommend using a .040 Cometic headgasket. Helps quench and boosts compression a little.

We're going to run the Felpro .041 with a 65CC 243's and this cam.The base circle on Comp version of this grind needs a 7.425 but with the smaller head gasket the 7.40 works fine.
