Default Having trouble putting t-top lock in.

The driver's side t-top has been missing the lock since I bought the car. I haven't tried to put the lock in until today. All I have is the lock itself. When I put it in, it falls out. The only thing I've removed are the two screws at the ends. I don't see how to completely remove the plastic piece.

I had this problem about 3 months ago. There is a small like ring clamp around your lock itself and that is what holds the lock in place in the actual t top plastic. I cant remember exactly how you do it but you need to definetly find that little clasp

I called the dealer, but he doesn't see it sold separately.

My car is missing the drivers side t-top plastic part and the bit the key goes in. The tumbler, or what ever it is called is still there. Where can I get these parts? Dealer I presume?

Oooops, some parts have to be purchased in bulk. That sucks that you can't just buy one each of these things. I think I just need the lock cylinder.

Don't mean to **** your thread, but what would I go about doing if my driver side t-top's lock is different than my pass. side? Do I need a new lock, and take it to a locksmith with my current key to get it keyed? Or.....?

Sure you can, you just have to buy 5 of them ($17.75 including shipping).
