Default 5.3 heads on a 6.0 block

is this possible and if so where can a get a 6.0 block at a good price. i was thinking of running this combo with a G5x2 and my TEA stage two heads. any opinions?

Yes, it is indeed possible. They will bolt right on. Check out our truck classified section, or search for "Valvegod" (Shaun) in the classified section. He can locate stuff like that no problem.

6.0L iron block is known as an "LQ4" block.

Putting heads with 'smaller' chambers on blocks with bigger bores is fine; 5.7L or 5.3L heads on a 6.0L block. One can run into quench problems putting larger chambered heads on smaller bore blocks if the heads are not machined to compensate.
