how much ground clearance do you have from the ground to the turbo of an sts system on stock height and street tires? i have strano springs and was about to order the sts but i dont want to have to worry about smacking the turbo. i have an 02 ws6

I wanted to know this as well. Becuase i just bought a kit and its a non intercooler kit and ive seens pics where the charge pipe bends and goes up into the engine bay, and it seemed to hang really low.

the turbo is not the low point on the kit, the low point on my car is the left side charge pipe going under the lower control arm. but i still have almost 3 inches of clearance at that point. i have the intercooler from TRT and all charge pipes are higher than the air dam .

you wont smack the turbo, the pipe under the control arm as mentioned, and if you dont go fmic the pipe that goes up into the engine bay are what you will whack.

mod those two and your good to go.

not to hijack you, but i have the same question about the sts system which i just purchased, it's going on a 02 firehawk which sits low and my exhaust is already about 3-5 inches off the ground.....has anyone put this system on a firehawk or lower car?????

Yep, like its said above the front charge pipe will be the one that drags, not the turbo or the over the axle pipe (although they both can). Its almost always that front pipe.
