Ok so i just bought a NOS 5177 kit and i thought the kit came with a 10 lbs. bottle but after opening the box i got a 15 lbs. bazooka!:eek2: How in the heck does this thing fit in the car. I mean its sitting right were the spair tire goes but its just laying there and if i mount the bottle in there i probably wont be getting it back out? Any Ideas on what to do and has anyone else ran into this problem??? I mean I really what to keep the bottle just dont exactly know where to mount that beast of a tank....

a 15# does take up alot of room.

Might have to check into the T-Top well or the hump over the axel.

You could sell the 15 lber & pick up a 10 lb bottle. That is what I did when I bought my last 5177 kit.

15s have been installed in the spare tire well, it just depends on how much you want to mess with it.

You can order that kit with a 10lb bottle and get $$ credit towards other goodies. Call NOS and I will bet they will trade it out for you, though a 15 is much better than a 10, imo.

98 camaro with a 17" wide tub, not that big of a tire I would probably limit the tire size to 30 or 31 with a 14.5 - 15" section.

It still has the back seat in it, I wanted to be able to take the kiddies with me still, so that's as big as I could go without tossing the seat or having to go to coilovers.

I have a speaker box in the trunk so there isn't many places left for my bottle :(

Did you make those or did you buy them? Are they actually called rear seat deletes? I would like a set of those cus I gotta mount two bottles. I like that if you can buy it.

I'm planning on doing a rear seat delete this summer that lays flat over the tunnel in order to mount the bottle in the middle where the hump will now be flat.
