Default anybody use lucas oil?

?.., and what is your lucas to reg. oil ratio?
(btw, I know lucas makes tons of different oils, but I think there's only one engine oil they make, the one I'm ref. to is like 9 bucks a qrt)

I just tried the Lucas "Oil Stablilizer" (1 qt.) mixed with Mobil 1 0-40. I have heard good things about this additive and decided to not only give my engine some...I put a qt. along with some Redline synthetic in my Moser and made a big difference with the noise. I also added a limited slip additive. So far the oil consumption in the engine is next to nill!!!!
I also did the LS6 pcv conversion and used the truck pcv "fitting"....
My goal was to reduce intake consumption and blow-by...which I think has happened.
I will report when I have more miles. Hopefully Patman will chime in with his opinion??????

don't mean to freak you out but:

I don't know that the tests this guy did is "real world" (i.e. the only thing driven by gears in an engine is the oil pump, I THINK), but don't put any of this stuff in your rear end gears.

Stay away from this stuff, it just thickens your oil. If you want thicker oil, buy a 10w40 to begin with.

Ok....what is the mix ratio? That will make a BIG difference. I guess I will check my dip stick and drain some from the differential and see if it looks milky. Good info and thanks for the heads up.
BTW, I don't get freaked out about something that can be simply changed.
Later.
