I added another calculator to my site that creates a chart of gear ratios that match your inputs.

So for example, you enter your tire diameter and transmission ratio that you finish the 1.4 in, and the calculator makes a table of gear ratios for you to choose from based on your desired RPMs and max trap MPH.

It is harder to explain than it is to use, check it out and let me know what you think. Or just let me know if you'd like to see another calculator on the page, and I'll add it if I am able

Why do the trap RPMs start so high in that table? Can you make them from 90mph so V6s can input their mph? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Nice job on the page! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

that's a pretty cool site. horsepower is a little off, says mine is 405, when i dynoed at 334, but i think everything's kinda variable. pretty cool though. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

nice!

it would also be nice if you could input your gears and tire size and it would give you a chart with mph at 100 rpm increments.

TQ converter slippage, tire growth, and the difference between trap speed and actual speed also has to be taken into account.

Cool site!
