8 year F-bod lover...now a vette guy
Well after owning a '94Z28, '98 NBM T/A, and most recently a red '99 T/A I've finally bought my first vette. It's a 2002 with 27K miles plus I got a 3year/24K mile bumper to bumper GM extended warranty. I can't get over how agile this thing is and the gearing is so much better than the f-bod tranny. I think the T/A had a better rush up above 4500 rpms (it was 427 RWHP/380RWTQ) but the vette pulls just as hard or harder below 4500 that I think they're probably about even in the 1/4. The weight and gears make a huge difference. Anyways, I'll always love the F-bod and here's some pics:

^^yeah, good thinking, I am sure it will be an improvment over how it is now....and don't worry, I have needed to lower my car ever since I bought it, and still have not done it

Nice score on the new car. I just picked up a 2002 EB Z06 in October as well. I actually found mine on eBay, after having my eyes on them for awhile. It was just luck that I came upon mine, 30K miles, everything I wanted. And it was local so I went and checked it out. Ended up buying it that week. Right place at the right time is huge in finding one of these.
It's definitely a sweet upgrade. The handling on these cars is ridiculous! The Electron Blue is such a sexy color.
