well, u have what you would call "OVERKILL" for what you want.

To run mid low 12's you wont need a cam that big, and you wont need a set of 2k heads. Your looking at a mid 11 second setup. Now im no pro on cams, but sounds like you need somthing like

224/226
565/570 and for a lopey idle 112+2

And pic up a set of patriot heads for around 1k. With a 3400 stall. and you will run what you want with that setup.

Patriot Stage 2 Heads
Longtubes
Drag radials
3400 stall
373 gears
Walbro 255 pump

If that doesnt get you 11.8-12.3 @ 113mph+ then something is wrong.

overkill ? i dont think a 236 with afr 205 is overkill at all that would sound nothing like a t rex that is overkill i think thats a nice setup but you can make same power with less coin i would not buy slp longtubes look at kooks for that kind of money or pacestter for abot half

yes, you can have a VERY streetable M6 with a small cam only car. and it will run 12's all day, but you should think about upgrading your rearend.

ok so lemme get this streight...im guessing in a stock ls1 ss 6spd with 95k miles anywhere from 13.2-13.5 in the quarter and 290-300whp with a cam,headers,ypipe,catback,3.73s and a lid and get it all tuned is 12.4 and 400whp outa the question?

Not out of the question. Just not nessecary for what your goals are.

Or whatever, just say **** it. Buy the package you found, break your 10bolt and sit your car in the driveway.
