Need help with LT1 T56 info

Default Need help with LT1 T56 info

I just got a cheap t56, but it didnt come with the clutch fork. It looks like there may also be something missing from around the input shaft against the front plate of the trans(a couple empty bolt holes).
If anyone has a clear picture of what the trans looks like around that area with parts that would be greatly appreciated.

The clutch fork bolts in on the driver side of the inputshaft .

So if i buy a clutch fork, it bolts right to the face of the trans with the 2 bolt holes i see ?

It bolts in with a single bolt .

I can take pics of my T56 and clutch fork, but I don't have the clutch fork bolted on right now.

That is NOT what mine looks like. the bellhousing lines up with my gen1 SBC block in the garage, and bolts to the trans also. Here are some pics of what I have.
Here is a pic of the bellhousing.


Looks like I was sent a LS1 trans huh?

I don't know enough about them to tell you what you have, but I definitely agree it's different. Maybe someone that knows more can tell.
