Default Use stock Dart Valve Springs or go to Duals?

I have a new set of Dart 205 heads with the stock Dart valve springs. My cam is a .595. Should I replace the springs with new duals or should I use my current used PRC Duals? They have about 12K on them.

The PSI 1511 valve springs on your Dart heads are superior springs to the PRC's, have better surface treatment and will rev higher. I wouldn't use anything else unless they won't support the lift. Also, the titanium retainers on your Dart setup are only 6 grams. Check out Katech's web site, they tested a ton of springs that they considered for their 427 builds, they selected the springs you are thinking of removing.

Thanks guys. Will these springs work with my cam's lift?

Yes they are advertised to be good for .620 lift. I have them on my car and they haven't been on long but no problems so far. My cam is .588/.595 lift.

Does anyone know where to buy a replacement set of these springs? I would like to have a set for when I eventually need to change them but can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

CV Products carries them. There is also a more expensive "ML" version that has additional surface treatment for "Max Life".
