Custom direct port ls6 intake, 1 fuel & 1 n20 solenoid?? Im doing a home direct port kit and so far i found all the distribution blocks i need but can I use one large (pro race) nitrous and fuel solenoid to feed the system??? I always see people using 4 solenoids and it doesnt look nessesary...

if one noid is good 200 wether fuel or nitrous and all u plan is 200 then ur cool

If you are running one block with eight ports and you aren't going to run a big shot then you should be fine. Alot of people just run two blocks with four ports each and a solenoid per block, if this is the case I would be a little leary of one solenoid because the more you T off the main feed line the more resistance you make and that is really going to to reduce your flow, especially if you have to start jumping blocks together. What is the max shot you are looking at doing?

Re: Custom direct port ls6 intake, 1 fuel & 1 n20 solenoid?? im running the Pro Race Fogger systems ( 2-nitrous/fuel noids, 4 dis blocks ) but instead of tapping the intake, i sent back the reg foggers for NOSzels... just need to get the lines bent.

I have LT4 intake that was plumbed and flowed by Jeff Prock at Applied Nitrous Technoligies. This intake was plumbed using a NOS Pro Race Fogger with the stainless annular nozzles. Jeff flowed the intake for 350hp shot of nitrous and he only used one Pro Race nitrous solenoid with two fuel solenoids.
I'm going to be calling him this week to see if the intake will flow flow a 450 to 500hp shot with the one solenoid?
From the recommendations in the thread posted I see that some feel that you need to have two nitrous solenoids, one for each distribution block. Well that doesn't seem the case. You might want to give Jeff Prock a call and see just what he might suggest. If your familiar with whom Prock is, he's one of the top nitrous tuners in the country. He can give you accurate and proven information. www.appliednitroustechnology.com
If interested this is a pic. of how he did my LT4 intake and this setup was OK for a 350hp tuneup.
